December meeting will be a Zoom party on December 10

Sadly we can not have our annual in-person holiday party this year. Instead, we will have a Zoom virtual Holiday party and meeting on Thursday December 10, 2020. Virtual cocktails start after 7:00 pm and the meeting will start at 7:30 pm. You will receive an email with the meeting ID and password. Check the Calendar for event updates. Gather the family around the computer. Have a party. Show us how you've decorated your house this year. Please wash your hands, wear your face mask, maintain social distancing, and stay safe and healthy. Be well.

Ankokas goes to Atco

On Sunday, November 8, 2020, Bob Petters, Jeff Schulte, and Bruce Prichard attended the Atco dragway car show. About 150 cars were in attendance. It was a nice day for showing cars and lots of racing. Only 3 trophies were awarded to the show cars, and Bruce Prichard got one, (2nd place), for his 1932 Ford highboy roadster. Also attending but not winning was Bob with one of his 1953 Olds convertibles and Jeff with his 1929 Ford home made speedster that was in the Great American Race. This was the last show of the year on a beautiful warm sunny day in November at the Atco dragway. This may have also been the last show ever at Atco, as the track has been sold to a developer to be turned into a car auction facility. Stay tuned on that one.
